About the Artist
Bonnie Sneed combines her knowledge of art and design with the sewing and seamstress skills that her mother and grandmother taught her. She has been sewing clothing articles, fashion accessories, quilts, baby items, and home decor since 1967, and has been painting since 1968. Her specialty is creation of truly unique items that are designed and crafted solely for a special recipient.
All of Bonnie's longarm quilting is done free-motion and she often designs her own motifs and stitching patterns to accentuate the character or pattern in the fabric.
Rather than sign or label her quilts, every that she finishes for a gift has the recipient's initials hidden in the stitching somewhere in the quilt. She offers this same free service to her customers.
Bonnie Sneed is a member of the following professional organizations:
International Association of Professional Quilters
American Quilter's Society
Arizona Quilter's Guild
Arizona Longarm Quilters Association
NAWBO - National Association of Women Business Owners, Phoenix Chapter

Bonnie is a graduate of Barrett, the Honors College and the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts at Arizona State University.
Bonnie and her husband reside in Scottsdale, Arizona, with their two Rhodesian Ridgebacks, and where she serves on the local school board and volunteers for educational and artistic causes. She is passionate about life-long learning and is happy that both of those fields provide constant opportunities for learning something new.
Note - This is not a pet-free studio, but every precaution is taken to keep the quilts clean.
It is, however, a smoke-free environment.
